Christmas Resource Packs
Each pack contains 30 festive worksheets in PDF format, with activities suitable for Key Stage 3 and 4 students, as well 5 interactive Flash activities. The worksheets are graded in difficulty, with the first few being aimed at students working towards levels 2-4 right through to GCSE A* topics in the later worksheets. Each pack contains worksheets suitable for any secondary mathematics classroom, giving teachers the chance to plan outstanding lessons based around National Curriculum learning objectives, whilst maintaining the interest of students right up to the end of term. Dinner Dilemma In this interactive game, students have to work out what time different ingredients need preparing and cooking so that Christmas dinner will be on the table in time.
Snowflake Creator This creates an endless suppply of different snowflake shapes at the click of a button. Great for students to copy, contsruct and investigate.
Find Rudolph Students will need to use the mathematical clues to carefully eliminate reindeer from the herd and find Rudolph. A great consolidation activity for number property topics such as factors, prime numbers, indices and triangular numbers.
Santa's Smelly Socks This activity makes students guess a number and then guides them using "higher" and "lower" to the correct number. Wrong guesses are rewarded by students having smelly socks hurled at them! A perfect introduction to the mathematics of search algorithms, or simply a fun game for the whole class to enjoy.
Lift Shift This mathematical brain training game requires students to concentrate and remember the sum of the presents moving past without any pen or paper to help. Christmas Pack 2 - First released in 2010

Advent Calendar This interactive advent calendar has 24 different mathematical puzzles to solve. Suitable for use on the interactive whiteboard or for individual students on standalone PCs.
Elf Elimination This is a game for four players to play on the interactive whiteboard. Each player has to try and beat the previous player’s score within the time limit in order to avoid being eliminated. The last elf standing is the winner! Try out a free version of this game.
Cracker Stacker This activity requires students to work out solutions to various linear equations, and to put these solutions into numerical order. As the levels progress, the equations incorporate more challenging equations, as well as including more equations on each level.
Present Panic This activity is designed for whole class use on an interactive whiteboard. Ten sets of presents will flash up for a short time, and after each students will be asked to make an estimate for a percentage of the presents. Students are then allocated points on the accuracy of their estimates.
Seesaws This mathematical brain training game requires students to work out which symbol is heaviest, based on different seesaw scenarios. This can be used to complement work on inequalities. This game becomes more difficult as the levels go by, allowing each student to find a challenge.

Christmas Present Pyramid This automatically generates starter or plenary activities for the interactive whiteboard to test addition, subtraction and problem solving skills. There are four levels of arithmetic difficulty to choose from, as well as two different algebraic challenges.
Penguin Pairs This game allows students to practise number bonds against the clock. The levels gradually become more challenging, meaning that students can easily self assess and set targets for improvement.
Stocking Up This mathematical brain training game requires students to order numbers against the clock. A perfect activity to complement work on the positive and negative number line. This game also becomes more difficult as the levels go by, allowing each student to find a challenge.
